“With a little nudging and direction, everybody can develop their own personal style, no matter their shape, age, or wallet size. In my view, fashion should be aspirational, but attainable and definitely something to have a sense of humor about. We Stayed at the St. Regis Bal Harbor – Conveniently across the street from the Bal Harbor Shops! While we didn’t do any heavy shopping, we did pop in to Vilebrequin with our brother where we were wowed! by these $9,000 swim shorts!

The thread used to stitch each turtle is made from 24k gold

:: DAY 5, BRAVE THE HURRICANE! ::

Only when the Ibru Family descends on Miami, is there a hurricane & severe weather warning in the middle of April! We braved the storm and still made it to the Design District for lunch at Michaels Genuine Food & Drink! It’s a fantastic restaurant. We tried a selection of things from the menu – all made from scratch to order.

Spotted on the Elie Saab Runway, this is the perfect do for the heat!

We love this ponytail! You can get the same look by sectioning off parts of the ponytail with a small rubber band the same color as your hair!

Any one who knows me knows I rock the hell out a ballerina bun! It keeps the crazy amount of hair I have at bay, especially in this blazing Nigerian sun! If your hair isn't very thick you can still achieve this look by using an artificial bun. You can buy them or learn how to make your own sock-bun at home on youtube!

If you want to keep your hair down but have it out of your face this is a great one! The messy braids add a little attitude to your look!

While the classic ponytail is boring, the knot on this one adds a new dynamic. Tie your hair back like normal, leaving a little piece out to wrap around at the end. Secure in a place with hair pins!

If you're brave, go for the chop! Summer is the perfect time. Add a little attitude to it like Vanessa Simmons with a large side bang.

Or you can do it like Keri Hilson. Blonde is always fun for the summer and a long bob like this one gives you tons of styling options.

I love, love, love his hairstyle as seen on Valentino A/W models. It's super easy to create. All you have to do is take a chunk of hair (I usually start further forward than they have)and roll it backwards picking up more hair as you go along. Tie it back and leave the ponytail loose at the end or pin it into a bun!

The classic high ponytail is always a win! The best part of it all is that you don't need any heat! Just pull back your natural hair with some gel and wrap a ponytail around it.
