Dita Von Teese Launches Lingerie Line

Dita Von Teese – the Queen of burlesque introduces her new lingerie line at several different upmarket department stores around the world. It is retro chic and designed according to Dita’s signature vintage – inspired style. She channels old Hollywood style with modern tailoring .

The collection which includes bras, bustiers, panties, hosiery, gloves and night gowns are a perfect fit for for all types including the full figure. If you have a large bust I definitely recommend this brand (personal experience) as bras go up to a size 44F. Prices from $45-$300.

The new collection is available at Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Harrods & Selfridges.

David Beckham X Kevin Hart for H&M Modern Essentials Autumn/Winter 2015

Balmain X H&M

In a recent interview with COMPLEX magazine,

Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing speaks candidly about his childhood in Bordeaux, France and how fashion helped him find his own identity and build his own world. Rousteing also touches more directly on what we can expect from the upcoming collection, which is set to hit select H&M stores on Nov. 11.

“I wanted the collaboration to stay true to my vision of the Balmain house, to the DNA of the house,” the designer says. “I wanted to push the boundaries of the craftsmanship. Every fitting, every tailoring, everything to look exactly like my vision of Balmain in H&M.”

Featured in a recent article by British GQ, we get our first glimpse at the high-top silhouette which features a two-tone, mixed material upper of what appears to be black leather and military green suede. Additional details include the d-ring eyelets, the extended tongue, and waxed cotton laces. Retail on the pair is reported to be £100 which is approximately $155 and will be released with the rest of the collection on November 5 at select H&M locations.

The Official Book Of Fashion Must Haves :: Neiman Marcus Fall 2015

The Fashion guru himself has spoken! Ken Downing, Neiman Marcus Fashion Director, has released his edition of this seasons must haves. When it comes to staying on trend Ken is our go to guy!

“Season after season, fashion journalists declare “trends” an obsolete idea, going as far as denying their existence. But I, for one, disagree. After attending the hundreds of fashion shows and presentations, I’m left with indelible images that inform my opinions. For me, these imprints distill into distinct fashion stories. Through my lens, I see collective signals of creativity and change. No trends? Nonsense!”

The exhibition features iconic photographs from important keystones of the civil rights movement to the present day.”
