Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2016

The Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2016 collection was presented in The Gardens of Muse Rodin, Paris on Monday 25th. The collection this year didn’t get as much coverage as previous years, maybe because the fashion house is still operating without a Creative Director. This year the collection was presented by a group of young designers that have been taking the reins of the brand and it shows. The spring collection has a few more fun and flirty elements that aren’t common to Dior. The most notable change this year is that there was no exquisite ball gown as the grand finale.

Let’s see if maybe one of the designers on the team will make creative director this year or if Dior will look outside of the company to bring someone new to the table. Despite there being a different look, there were still a few pieces we would give our left arm for! lol

The Art Of Elysium Heaven Gala 2016

The Art of Elysium hosted its 9th annual HEAVEN gala revealing an experiential art installation the night before The Golden Globes. The 2016 visionary and creative force behind this year’s event is fashion luminary, Dame Vivienne Westwood & Andreas Kronthaler. The charity also recognized tireless fundraising and volunteer artists Finola Hughes and Russell Young, by honoring them with the ‘Spirit of Elysium’ award.

HEAVEN is The Art of Elysium’s largest annual fundraiser, with proceeds directly supporting the organizations’ programs & services and expanding its mission to make art a catalyst for social change for artists, hospitalized children, elders and homeless communities.

We love the whole concept behind this organization and what they stand for. We would totally love to attend one day but in the mean time and in between time check out all the celebrities who supported the great cause!
