Valentino Spring 2016 Haute Couture Show

The Valentino 2016 Spring Haute Couture collection was inspired by the early twentieth century Venetian-Pagan romanticism. The creative directors of the house, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, infused a combination of heavy velvets (appliquéd, patinated, pleated and even painted) and light gauzy materials to create a phenomenal collection. The color themes of this year are dark mossy green, deep burgundy and absinthe yellow.

All in all, we are huge fans of the collection. Valentino continues to produce timeless pieces while always giving us something fresh and new! Here are a few of our favorites from the studio and the run way:
