This years Oscars were hosted by Jimmy Kimmel who managed to skate through some pretty uncomfortable situations with style like the envelope mix up for Best Picture Award. Besides that the award ceremony went seemingly smooth and of course the red carpet, as expected, was on fire. Here are a few of our faves!

Phillip Pleins Fall 2017 show has created quite a stir! The runway featured rappers Nas, Young Thug & Fetty Wap.
Halima Aden made her first big appearance on the Yeezy Season 3 Runway – in her Hijab. We love that she has decided not to change for the fashion world and is rocking it with pride.
The 2017 Independent SPIRIT Awards Ceremony was held in Santa Monica California. It was hosted by comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney. For the most part it had a little bit more of a casual vibe than most awards ceremonies, which we kind of like.

Lol. The Brit Awards are always a fun time. In their 37th year, the awards ceremony was held at The O2 in London, hosted my Dermot O’Leary and Emma Willis.

The BET America Black Film Festival Honors took place in Beverly Hills last week honoring those who have taken stride in the film industry. The gold carpet was o fire with everyone bringing their A Game, and of course it was nice to see one of our own brands – Issa Rae in Lisa Folawiyo.
