If it’s not too cliche to say, We were living our best lives this summer! Our brother got married in Vouligameni, a beautiful town in the Athens Riviera.
It was an exciting trip from to start to finish; here’s the low down:
We left London at the crack of dawn on Friday August 31st – the whole family in tow! As always, when we all get together there’s a little mayhem, a little laughter, a few tears but a guaranteed good time.
Our first night we had casual evening drinks at the Margi Hotel. By far one of my fave boutique hotels in the world! The pool bar & restaurant is amazing. We had almost everything on the menu including one of the best Greek Salads ever! (Needless to say, we ate a whole lot of Greek salads on this trip, lol).
Saturday morning was all about soaking in our first dose of sun, sun, sun! We stayed in 2 Villas – one in Lagonissi & the other in Glyfada. Both areas were really nice but completely opposite. Lagonisi is exactly what I expected from Greece – lots of beautiful villas, the villa was right next door to the Bali Beach Club, gorgeous views and tons of semi clad locals & holidayers strolling around. Glyfada on the other hand was far more city like & metropolitan with tons of cafes, designer shops, restaurants & parks.
Cardi, Cardi, Cardi!
We are loving the growth of Cardi B as an artist, a person and a style influencer to keep an eye on.She is styled by Kollin carter who was part of the celebrity stylist Law Roach team for 3 years. Cardi’s looks are always bold, dramatic and she loves color & fur.
The duo have taken themes & dress codes for events seriously and its produced some fantastic looks! He draws his inspiration for her looks from the likes of Misa Hylton Brim who styles the iconic Lil’ Kim for many years.
First of all, this is a HUGE collection!! There are so many looks for one season but it caters to all ages. It is safe to say Dolce & Gabanna have mastered the art of print & embellishment.
This collection features the renowned 1950’60s silhouettes of black lace dresses, floral prints, brocade & jacquard tailoring and religious embellishments. They also introduced a new garden print which will without a doubt be a hit.
More than anything, it’s amazing how one collection can be worn by all ages, sizes, genders & ethnicities from the Monica Bellucci’s and Ashley Grahams to Eva Herzigova and the list goes on! I think it’s safe to say all the influencers, trendsetters and IT crews will be rocking these super embellished looks asap!
FENDI have always been the Gods of the logo. FENDI did logos before logos were the trend. #LogomaniaForLife! This year theyve re-ignited our love for the logo but in a more classic & subtle way than other brands. We are loving the warm tones and their new take on the fanny pack!
Before baby no.2 I was worried about being able to stay cute this time around. 1 toddler and a husband already seemed like a handful but I managed to pull it off. Here are a few of my fave maternity looks from the second go around!
This was the first traditional wedding I had been to since I found out I was pregnant, thankfully Nikki O had me covered!
I spent ALOT of time in my pajamas this pregnancy, even when I was up and moving. Natori Pajamas are definitely on my go to list forever!
